Uncle Rick came to town! Oscar had lots of fun with him... Rick wasn't too sure that Oscar was enjoying his visit. But I think the pictures show that he was.

Uncle Rick took me to see M Butterfly at the Guthrie... it was wonderful.

It was only a matter of time...

Oscar has become quite the little artist these days.
He has been doing some painting at school which adorns the fridge. He received some crayons and a giant pad of paper for his birthday... but until recently he just wanted to eat the crayons. Last week he found the paper and crayons and went to work. He was playing so nicely I stepped away for just a moment. I should have known better.

But at least he picked colors that are in the decor of the room!They are washable crayons... but I think we will leave it up for a while.

April Mama Talk

We had a play date with some of Oscar's buddies...

Collin, Jake and Oscar are about 2 weeks apart in age and they really seem to like getting together.

St. Louis in April

We also managed to squeeze in a week in St. Louis. Oscar got 4 new teeth while we were there!! He went on his first merry-go-round.

"I'm glad you guys are having fun... get me off this thing!"

"Is it over yet?""I can't find anything in my size!"
We spent a morning at the Magic House... Oscar LOVED IT! He was hot, sweaty and hungry by the time we left.

"This place is great!"

"Here I come!"

"What the heck is going on?"

We had a brunch on Sunday with the family and some friends.

Oscar also got to meet his new "fur-cousin", Sophie.
